inductieve sensoren

Inductive sensors only switch on magnetic metals. These have the advantage of not being sensitive to all other materials in the environment, such as wood, plastic or pollution, so that detections are extremely reliable. Unlike a mechanical switch, an inductive proximity switch is wear-free due to its non-contact operation.

Inductive sensors work on the principle of change of inductance. This change occurs when a metal enters the detection area of the sensor. In that case, the sensor detects a change in the coil impedance which is interpreted as a detection.

When using these sensors, it must be carefully considered for each application how the inductive proximity switch can best be used. We offer a wide choice of important product features such as switching outputs, connection types, detection ranges and housings. Our experts are happy to help you make the right choice!
